Today had planning to go swimming with my bro-in-law at Yishun Safar Club with my 2 yrs old son. He had never step into swimming pool before. Both me and my wife have never been for as long as I remember too.

We waited at the void deck at 10.30 am and reach our destination around 11 pm. On the way there, we saw some drizzling and in our heart OH SHIT.

Luckily it stop when we reach there. Upon reaching there we got one problem. Is to think of a way to trick my son into wearing the swimming suite. He got the tendency of rejecting all the things that he have never see or wear before. While walking to the changing room, I point to him the pool which got a lot of children and ask if he want to play there. He say: “OR”. To my surprise he oblige when I tell him he need to wear this if he want to go to the pool in the changing room.

ME:”You want to play in the pool”

Carry him out and my wife ask me in surprise how you manage to make him change?? I said Haha, he oblige leh, didn’t make any noise. On the way to the baby pool he stop suddenly then notice the floor is too hot, so carry him. Put him at the pool side we got ANOTHER BIG PROBLEM. He don’t dare to go into the pool. Don’t even dare to sit at the side. Spend another half an hour just to trick him into the pool LOL.

A young couple was playing with their baby daughter who can’t even walk also tried to Cox him into coming in. After a while I think they get bored and go away saying “Mei Mei boring leh” haha

When I came back from the big pool saw him in the water as my wife manage to trick him into going in.

Left about 12.30pm, felt so sleepy upon reaching home. Had some lunch, put up the jokes and went to sleep

Overall it was fun day.

Initially when I started Blogging I have spend a lot of time looking around which blog to use. I find it really confusing when I search at the search engine. There’s just too many around to chose and you don’t know which one is the right one for you. I have started to notice this blog app call wordpress when I was searching for hosting plan. Almost all the hosting company comes with free wordpress installation. Then in the end I have decided to use wordpress as it’s free and it’s the most popular blogging platform.

After Installing wordpress I find out that it actually got Emotion Icon Shortcut as in you type a face it will automaticlly change to an icon. I got a hard time remembering the 40+ shortcut so I tried to create a reference on a page but in the end all the shortcut become the face :/ . So I thought of a way, I key it in a post in Blogspot.com hehe.

I search and found out the Function to all the shortcut and have added another few icon of my own :).

Recently Singapore have impose a rule that all the open air Kopi Thiam and food store will have to allocate a yellow box for all smokers. The allowed allocate space is 20% of all their Outdoor tables. So in the end a Look Like large space will only have about enough place to put maybe 4-6 table for smokers. And Draw a Yellow Box to indicate it’s the smokers area. If the Shop allocate 6 tables for smokers then he must have enough place to put 24 tables.

During lunch time today. As usually I lit up my cig. After my food. Just after one puff someone tap on my shoulder and tell me that I need to be careful if I wan to smoke there and he pointed to a place drawn with yellow box ;P. Shit I forgot that the rule is already effective as in 1 July 2007 :buns:. While I was picking up my coffee and shifting I can saw the surrounding people start smiling :brol:. I think it because it’s just starting and many people forgot. Not use to the change yet. I agree that it may be good to have a place for smokes so as to avoid others breathing in secondhand smoke but Isn’t the place allocated too small??

Hai… Right now wanna smoke also need to see place. I felt as though smokers are being labeled as unwanted and cast aside :mad1:. Just because our habit is not the likes of majority of the people then we are being labeled. I can’ only say one thing. UNFAIR.

Was feeling so boring alone at home so I play my favorite MTV songs again and again. It’s a Rock Songs in the 80’s by Yngwie Malmsteen song name is “You Don’t Remember I Don’t Forget”.

There’s once when Malmsteen held a concert in Singapore. One of my colleague who also like Melodic Rock told me. I was so surprise that it’s not seen in the TV Ads or Radio. Think it’s only solely meant for fans. I was so excited, really never expect a World famous Guitar Master to held a concert Down here in our Kampong. If you don’t believe, download the MTV, see and hear for yourself what is TRUE Guitar Master. So we went together. Only 2 of us. Yes ONLY 2 of us. Can hardly find anyone that like this type of songs nowadays especially Chinese.

Was surprise that it only cost $30+ max only $75 way much cheaper then those Chinese Singer like Andy Lau etc….. Their ticket can cost up to nearly $200. Imagine a world standard Guitar Master Concert only cost $30+. Purchase the Ticket without thinking. IT’s a chance too good to be miss.

Suppose to meet my cousin Ken and family on 4 pm at marina square. Have not seen them for two month liao. Kind of miss them… Among all the cousins, he’s the closest to me. He’s wife Perlyn is also a friendly person. Initially we were debating which buffet to go. Either the Marina South or Suntech. The one at Tower 1. Ken prefer to go Marina South but Perlyn prefer the Suntect Buffet as there’s aircon :/ Gals….. Daphne also opt for Suntech also because of aircon. So we meet in Marina Square and window shop. Walk into G2000. Daphne Bought a pair of pants. There’s 30% Discount store wide. Upon Paying the shop sales girl ask if we got any amex card as it has another 15% discount on top of all discount. Luckily my Cousin bring his as I didn’t bring mine. Ended up we only pay slightly more then $30 for a nearly $60 pants. Erm.. think there’s still some privilege to own some credit cards.

Proceed to suntec for dinner. As I didn’t have phone camera like some other people else I can take some pic of the buffet and post it up. Should have bought a camera phone :/ . But don’t worry will get one with camera for my next phone upgrade. Went to queue up and notice that the price went up from $17+ to $25 Per person. Wah so expensive. 4 person makan $100 + liao. Well still stick to our plan. After the makan. Shop a while more before we walk to the bus stop. Upon reaching the bus stop, saw a Taxi stand behind. Immediate I know what the two gals are thinking in their mind. YA, they wanna take a cab home. Well the gals win.

Suppose to reinstall one of my cousin computer to Win XP. Down there I take my time, took a can of beer and proceed with the computer. The Three of them are playing card games. i don’t know what games are they playing, I just know that they keep drinking after every game. After one hour or so the Two gals are so red all over. Haha Actually I think that gals look more attractive when they are in this state. But too bad not all gals turn red after a few drinks.

From the laughter I can tell that they are really enjoying themself. Once a while, while I have to go over and drink for Daphne. Think she drink too much that day. She vomited, there’s goes the $25 buffet . Luckly didn’t eat pariss else bleed more blood. Slept at almost 2am. and find out the next day that we finish all the beer and a few bottle of peach bacardi.

Today is the last day of the traning BUT there’s a test that I cannot fail or else back to here again in Aug. This time round have found out that I can actually meet another friend at bedok. :buns: Say earlier mar. Don’t have to spend $10+2+3 for the pass three days on taxi. The meeting time is 7.15 am at a bustop beside the Bedok MRT Station at the direction towards Changi. I left the house at 6.30 am and reach at 6.40 am. :buns: Too early liao. Last 3 day rush like hell just make it in time. Today take my own sweet time, wait till the cow come home still reach so early. :brol:

Today’s Plan is to revise in the morning, and test after lunch. We had a long lunch break. Had nothing to do at free time so most of use find a place and try to get some sleep on the carpet .

The Test was easy. 30 Multiply Questions. It reminds me of the driving Basic Theory Test I took few years back. The Question was easy. Tok 20 min to finish it. Went for break again and back for debriefing. Think all the people had pass the test. Went home and back to work tomorrow.

As Usual Meet at 7.30 am. Today’s Plan is to study . You know what they will give us a test tomorrow. And we have to recourse ( come back another 4 day ) if we fail the test . Even Thought it’s boring, there’s some laughter as the SI ( Station Inspector ) that gave the lecture does crack some jokes so the over all experience is not that bad.

This time we agree to meet later as the plan was to have breakfast there. I had told myself I must wake up early this time. Set my alarm at 6 am. But still arghhh :mad1: …. the next things I know it’s 6.50 am liao… rush like hell. Luckly didn’t have to spend much time waiting for cab. You know sometime when you are in a rush. Wait no cab, Wan to call no ans. You know that kind of feeling?? Ok, Manage to reach there at 7.30 am sharp . At least I’m not late. They are already waiting when I reach there.

Today’s lesson is to refresh our defence tactic memory. You know, it’s rusty when you have not use it for such a long time. lesson start at 8.30 am and when the instructor came in, one look at him I think he’s at least 8 yrs my junior. He had a brief explaination and ask us to try it ourself but careful not to over twist our friends wrist as it will injure our friend. The whole lesson is like playing games. Half the class was jsut sitting around doing nothing. Had a very very long lunch, from 10 am till 2.30 pm. Back to class. After some more Basic Baton training and the lesson ends at 3.30 pm. Today is the easiest day. Went home early and rest.

Alarm sound at 0500 am, as usual I close my eyes slightly longer. Who knows it’s longer then expect. The next thing I know it’s already 0530 am. Have not wake up so early for a long time. As I’m meeting my friend at compass point at 0615 - 0630 am, I have to rush or I’ll be very late. Initially had plan to take MRT from Eunos to Sengkang MRT station but I figure that I won’t be able to make it as the journey takes around 1 hr and the first train leaves the station for CityHall at 5.42 am.Actually the distance between the two place is not very far away but the stupid MRT turn one f**king big round to reach there.

It’s already 0550 am when I left the house. Leaving not much choice, I have to take a cab down… Luckily I’m not late, reach there at 0625 am but damage nearly $10.

They reach at 0630 am sharp and proceed to pick up another friend also living at sengkang area. Finally they bring me to a isolated coffee shop near jalan bahar. I take a look at my time… Wah Lau only 0705 am. Tell me lar… I thought so early for what…. I thought it’s because they scare got traffic jammed and the place is far that’s why so early. Ok never mind lan lan. Order a prata and eat left the place at 0800 and finally reach there at 0825. Took a while to find the place as the place is quite big… finally reach only saw three people. :buns: We are too early liao. Should have sleep longer. Went into the theater and continue sleeping….

When the Lesson finally start, it’s already 9.40 . WAH… Thought-out My life in the force.. There’s one conclusion..Police Force is Always Late… never early de.

Had a Long Lunch break. Ah Bui bring us to a Industrial area for lunch. Say the curry fish head there is good. So eight of us went together in two car. As it’s lunch time there’s a lot of people. can hardly find a big table that can accommodate the 8 big guys ha-ha so have to squeeze.

The Food was nice and we went back. The lesson start at 230 pm . and doze off again till 5.30 we went home. Was drop at Campass Point again. have to spend another $10 taking cab Home… Wah everyday $20. In one month I bankrupt liao. Luckily only 4 days reservice. Still can tahan the cost a bit.

After long wait for a few months. Finally I’ve move to my new flat in Eunos. . I have ask one of my friend to do the reno for my flat… well didn’t do very much but still spend about 15K to do up all the necessary stuff.

After moving in, I notice that there’s always a trail of stain to the rubbish chute. I follow it and it stop in front of a unit. That uncle have tattoo all over his body and he look like those gangster in the 50s. One day while waiting for lift I notice how devote he is to his so call god because he was adjusting a Buddha script in front of his door and was arguing with his wife weather it straight a not.

But one thing I don’t understand is, how can someone who is so devote to god so Inconsiderate?? :buns:
I suppose all he’s devotion is just his selfish hopping that the Buddha can bring him luck etc.. and not learning all the teaching. Well after all I guess he’s just wasting all his time and money doing all the praying.
