My Office Internet Line Upgrade
Came in the office today. Found that my Colleague have already upgrade our company existing 512k Singnet internet lease line to 4MB QALA Lease line. So happy have finally get rid of the super slow internet in the past.
Have heard that they stay until 4 am in the morning. Wah Feel so bad. Last week upgrade Phone System they also stay till around 4 am. Even though it’s a sat and not working next day I still feel bad as I’m also part of the Team or rather Department. Just that I’m more on the programming software side and I use to do what they are doing now.
So now I got a new task, it’s to test the line speed and report if it’s not in our expectation. Have been trying to download a few big file. So far so good the Speed I tested download from microsoft website reach around 450kb-500kb per sec. It’s already near to 5mb line speed. Also tried to download a 7.5 mb driver from Pac Net and it finish in less then 10 sec. Will try again in the afternoon and monitor for a few days. ermmm…… Now then realize that having a fast internet connection is indeed shiok.
